Bat Mitzvah girl – Kelly – read from the Torah at Temple Beth Torah, Mellvile Long Island, and had a fun, fun, fun dinner dance party immediately afterwards. Her mom had a vision. She totally transformed the ballroom into a pink & white dinner club – complete with half circle banquettes and feasting tables around the room. It was amazing and gorgeous and so much fun. On the other hand, those that know her, are aware that Kelly has a serious side. The other thing Kelly and her family wanted the party to be about, was doing good for others. Kelly is a very special role model. Instead of gifts for herself, Kelly asked all of her family & friends to donate to charity. Kelly and her mom pose in front of the Kelly Bag. The tag reads: “Donations from Kelly’s Bag will go to the Alzheimers Association and Windham Adaptive Ski Program.” Congratulations Kelly! I am sure you raised an impressive sum.
