DUMBO

I just spent 4 days in DUMBO – down under the Manhattan Bridge overpass – attending NYPH08 – The New York Photo Festival, a contemporary photography festival. It was non stop artist presentations and gallery exhibitions on the bleeding edge of photography. It was very energizing. I’m looking forward to next year – a ten day festival is planned. I haven’t visited that neighborhood since the 70’s when I was a college student at SVA. I forgot the sensations: From where ever you are standing in DUMBO you can see a bridge.
