BOWERY HOTEL NEW YORK CITY BAT MITZVAH PHOTOGRAPHY
Temple: Congregation Rodeph Sholom NYC
Reception: The Bowery Hotel
Decor: Evantine Design
Here are just a few highlights from Olivia’s Bat Mitzvah. She read from the Torah at Congregation Rodeph Sholom on the upper west side of Manhattan. Rodeph Sholom is one of the oldest Jewish congregations in New York City. I have had many opportunities to photograph Bar and Bat Mitzvah’s there. And what I love the most about the main sanctuary is its Romaneque architectural style. I particularly appreciate the natural light that filters in from South facing soaring windows on West 83rd Street, and the enormous arch surrounding the Ark. I use that arch in all of the formal bar and bat mitzvah portraits I make at Rodeph Sholom. You can see one here. Olivia wowed her guests is a perfect bandage dress at The Bowery Hotel for her party that night. And was so graceful as she was hoisted up in a chair during the hora. Congrats Olivia!
